Renting The Hall
Whether your need is to host a Wedding, Meeting, Celebration of Life, Fundraiser or Festival, the Cedar Community Association can meet your requirements at very reasonable rates.
Cedar Community Hall Association reserves the right to refuse to rent to any group.
Discounts may be applied at the discretion of the Cedar Community Hall Association.
Hourly rentals apply Monday though Thursday only. (Some exceptions can be made on request.)
To request a booking check on the events calendar to see if your date and time is available then fill out a our online booking request form.
The form will be sent to the administrator and you should hear back within 4 days. (This is a volunteer organization and is not staffed full time.)
Bookings are placed on the Events Calendar and then you are contacted, so that the calendar is up to date.
A $200 deposit is required to hold the date and is refundable if notified 30 days or more before your event.

General Hall Information
The Main Hall
The hall has over 230 Square meters or 2500 square feet of hardwood floor.
There are over 200 chairs with a hall maximum seated capacity of 240 people or a maximum of 160 with tables.
There are over 60 tables (30″x70″) available to set up for your guests, included with rental.
There is an attached annex 40 by 24 that is included with the hall for your use.
Decorations can be connected to the wood divider on the wall to make the hall as festive as you need.
There is a drop down hook on a pully in the center of the hall for hanging decoration without climbing a ladder.
There is an HD projector onto a 10 foot screen that connect through HDMI.
A podium and microphone can be provided on request.
Theatre lighting is not available with rental. You must contact Yellow Point Drama Group if you wish to have them light your event.
Renters are responsible for:
Clean up after their event and put all trash and recycle material in outside bins.
Returning tables and chairs to the Annex. (tables are 23 high in stands and chairs stack 10 high) Chairs face the wall.
Making sure washrooms are clean and no water is running.
Turning off all lights before leaving.
Set the alarm system and locking all doors.

The Kitchen
The kitchen is over 450 square feet with plenty of counter space for your event.
There are two refrigerators for rental use and two gas stoves.
A triple stainless steel sink.
Updated lighting to make everything bright and easy to see.
The kitchen can be rented stand alone or added onto a main hall rental.

The Annex
Over 900 square feet that can be separated from the main hall with accordion doors but is included with the main hall. This is an ideal space to locate your food buffet or additional guests.
The annex is adjacent to the kitchen.
The space is also the storage for all the chairs and tables.
